77彩票网appHouston has always had a tender spot in Ed Oliver’s heart.  The Buffalo Bills defensive tackle once his hometown Houston "the greatest place on earth."

77彩票网appOliver didn’t hide his love of H-town during Saturday’s Wild Card playoff game against the Texans. In fact, he sported signature cleats around his neck that displayed the city's iconic  "Be Someone" graffiti as he headed into NRG stadium.  The cleats complement the unforgettable "Be Someone" suit that Oliver wore during draft day in 2019.

77彩票网appSaturday’s game at NRG stadium was a Houston homecoming for Oliver. He attended Westfield High School in Houston and demonstrated raw talent during his high school career. He went on to become a true freshman starter at University of Houston, where he won the Bill Willis Trophy for his outstanding play.

77彩票网appOliver’s NFL homecoming was a bittersweet one, however, as the Texans went on to defeat the Bills in a 22-19 overtime playoff thriller.

A student of the game, however, Oliver made it clear to reporters before kickoff that win or lose, it's all business to him.

77彩票网app“You lose, you go home," Oliver said. "You win, you get to keep playing. If we go out there and lay an egg, we’re going to be at home next week. If we go out there and we execute, we get to fight again."
