The Pearland High School marching band, "The Pride of Pearland," is preparing for its big New Year's Day performance at the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California. And they're thrilled about it, if their social media channels are any indication.

The talented hometown high school group is sharing photos from their time in Pasadena, which included a stop at the Sleeping Beauty Castle in Anaheim, California, on Tuesday.

Just days before, Pearland ISD proudly broadcast photos of the intense preparation it took to transport hundreds of band members, support staff, chaperones and faculty to California.

77彩票网appPhotos show "band dads" loading up heavy props, students lugging instruments, parents packed into crowded school buses of eager performers and band members huddled together at a Los Angeles airport.

Since the number of Pearland residents attending the Rose Parade was so large, they had to be split up among different flights. According to , roughly 400 people flew out on eight different airplanes Saturday. Out of the 88 set performers, 55 will represent the band in California. Watch them march at 10 a.m. on Wednesday on KTRK (ABC Channel 13).

The band has already performed at the Rose Parade's Bandfest, which took place on , alongside other bands from Costa Rica, Mexico,  California and Hawaii.
